Help Jimmy Beat Leukemia

Donation protected
My son Jimmy is an 18 year old who was recently diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. He just graduated from high school with honors and  scholarships to MTSU in May 2019.  He started having symptoms towards the end of May and beginning of June after he had graduated. He started having low grade fevers, felt weak, and was unable to eat full meals.  He then started having intense pain in his abdomen which we later found out was due to an enlarged spleen that was caused by the leukemia.  We brought him to two different doctors when his symptoms first started and both of them stated that they thought he had allergies and sent him home with some nasal spray and a steroid injection. When the intense abdomen pain started, we took him to the emergency room and it was there that they told us that they believed he had leukemia and they wanted to transfer him to Centennial Children's hospital where they specialize in treating children and young adults with cancer. We agreed to transfer him to Centennial. It was there that he was diagnosed with leukemia after they performed a bone marrow test. The doctor told us that he would have to be treated with chemotherapy for a 3 year period. He has had several complications from treatment. He has been hospitalized for over 40 of the past 60 days. The chemotherapy caused blood clots in his left arm and he now has to take blood thinner injections in his stomach twice every day.  He was given several spinal taps. One of the  spinal taps caused him to have severe headaches which was caused by a leakage of his spinal fluid and had to ultimately be repaired using a blood patch. He had another serious reaction to the chemotherapy given to him through a spinal tap causing him to lose all functionality of his left arm and hand and also caused him to be unable to speak clearly.  The doctors ended up figuring out what the problem was and he has since recovered. However, he continues to have chemotherapy treatment up to 4 times a week and takes a number of medications which have also done a number on his body and include many side effects. The chemotherapy causes his blood counts to drop. If his blood counts are low when he goes to his appointments, he has to be given a blood transfusion.
Since his diagnosis, I have been unable to work and have been on FMLA leave at work. He has required almost full time care at home.  His health insurance does not cover all the  medical costs and I am still expected to pay co pays which I cannot afford. Also the household income has been dramatically reduced and the bills are overwhelming.  Jimmy also has a younger sister who is a high school senior. We need help paying for medical care and other bills that will enable Jimmy to maintain as much normal life as possible while he is going through this illness. We appreciate any help even if it is prayers for his full and complete recovery. Thank you.
