Help Jamie Get Back On Her Feet!

On December 4th, 2016 Jamie Bilderback was hit by a car crossing her street as she carried groceries back to her apartment in New York City.
She was hit and thrown a dozen feet.
Her injuries were extensive. She broke a bone and damaged ligaments in her wrist, sustained lifetime damage to her ankle and has bulged disks in her neck and back. She tore her ACL so badly she had to have it replaced.
She had the full ACL replacement surgery on April 6th. Her recovery is long and arduous. Between December and her recent surgery, Jamie has had limited mobility and our favorite ginger has been mostly home-bound.
Since she was working full time as a server, she wasn't able to return to work. She followed doctor's orders and she's been unable to work due to disability four out of the last five months. She's looking at 8 more weeks of missed work until her ACL is healed, but physical therapy will go on for six monthsInsurance will be helping with her lost wages, but it's only a portion and it has been significantly delayed. With almost five months without a steady income, in one of the most expensive cities in the world, our girl is in danger of losing her health insurance and defaulting on her loans.
Jamie moved to New York in August to chase her dreams of acting and stand-up comedy. Since December, all of that has been put on hold as she battles the insurance system and tries to get compensation for her injuries.
She doesn't want to ask for help- so I will for her. We all know Jamie is a fighter. We know how she goes hard in everything she does- acting, working, writing, loving. She needs our help, and anything you can give to help keep her afloat is amazing.
If you can't give money and you live in New York City, there are other things you can do! She needs help with meals, doing laundry, grocery runs, and household chores.
