Help Isaac and Emily in Uganda

Donation protected
Hey everyone, thank you for viewing this Gofundme and for your support.

My name is Peter Bragino, and I'm reaching out for a friend, Isaac (19yrs old) and his little niece Emily (almost 6yrs old) who live in Uganda. They need help with finances to stay in their apartment where he takes care of her. Isaac lost his sister (Emily's Mom) in 2015 just two weeks after giving birth to her son Walker, the doctors say it was Postpartum preeclampsia.
Walker is in the village being cared for as he's too young for Isaac to be allowed guardianship over. His goal is to get custody of Walker as well eventually.

Please take a moment to read his story, and if you can donate anything to help them out, it would mean the world to both Isaac and Emily. It would mean a lot to me as well. I've been trying to help the two of them out with friendship and verbal support for a few years now, but I can not meet this current financial responsibility on my own. I met Isaac when he reached out to me about three years ago asking me advice about his artwork and how he can make this living with his art. I've been trying my best to mentor him since then and have witnessed his struggle, joys, accomplishments, and hardships. I'm running this Gofundme for him as he's not able to do it from Uganda being outside the US. Any funds that are raised will go directly to Isaac and Emily to assist with their living situation.

Isaac's story:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------

My name is Isaac, am an artist in Uganda in a small village called Kintintale.

Life in Uganda is hard for almost everyone due to our political instabilities and to me and my family it has affected us too bad.

In 2015 I lost my sister and she left me and my family a responsibility of two children, one, Emily who is five and Walker who is making two in September!

With these responsibilities, all I could do was try and at least care for one of my sister's kids, and I have been living with her since.

For this year, she's started school and thank God I haven't had to pay anything, the offered her a scholarship.

And now all I have on me as responsibility is up keep and rent of where we stay and for this year I haven't paid any of it because my financial standing and my family's, which is not so good.

If am able to pay my rent this year, it would mean the world to me and my niece. For every month, I have to $50 and for the past 6months I haven't paid anything.

If I can raise $600, I will be able pay for this entire year and by the time my niece comes from school she will have a place to call home.
Thank you

Hey, It's Pete again. The last thing I asked Isaac was this. If we were able to raise the money to get them stabilized for the next 6 months how is he going to be able to afford rent after that?

Isaac said:
I have tried to make it, while doing some work in electronics repairs, I remember telling of my knowledge in electronics, for this year it's not been easy, and in the same way, other forms of work require at least an O level certificate, which I was trying to register for this year, if I did, I would be able to get work next year,
I had some commissions I was expecting which didn't come in my favor, and my plans came to a bad pause. The deadline for registration for O level is Monday which is tomorrow, only if maybe the school gives me an extension, I will survive. To be honest, am also thinking of how am going to make it and am not yet sure how, maybe hopes some stability in our country's economy next year!
