Help Iggy change their legal name!

Hi, I’m Iggy Dido Jae, an agender & disabled artist living in Melbourne, Australia. While this is definitely my real name, it’s not my legal name. In the state of Victoria in which I live, it costs $100+ to get name changes merely considered.
Seeing or hearing my legal name causes me a great amount of distress, and I have to use it for a number of things, such as my (numerous) hospital visits, bank details, driver’s licence, and everything legal related.
The extra $120 I’m asking for includes a decision by the legal system within 5 business days, as well as postage for my new birth certificate with my real name on it.
If the $220 is met, I will be ecstatic & so very grateful to everyone who’s donated. I’ve been out as trans since 2011, and as agender since 2015, and, in this time, my legal name has remained as a constant reminder of someone I no longer am.
Anything over the $220 will be donated to Ygender, an organisation dedicated to helping trans youth.
