Help Henry Get Medical Care

As many of you know, my cats are my children. Henry has suddenly become very sick. He's had a fever for a week and we have already been to our vet's office twice as well as the emergency vet.  He has been put on meds and seems to have a lot of pain in his back region.  We had tests done tonight, including x-rays.  The doctors can't seem to give us a definitive answer on what the issue is.  So, it seems that all of these tests may only be the beginning of another bout of problems for my poor boy, and another mountain of vet bills for us.

Vet bills have always plagued our household.  (We seem to hold the short end of the stick with adopting healthy cats.) Even so, and even with a tight budget, we have made paying those bills work.  What's really worrying me right now is not being employed.  We are still financially knocked out from losing our beloved cat, Calico, earlier this year. And now, without a job, I am getting more and more frantic that I won't be able to get Henry the help he needs.  I can't bear to lose another pet... Another child of mine.
