Help Heal Fergie Ryan She currently needs oxygen

Donation protected
My amazing dog Fergie Ryan needs medical help at the Emergency 24 hour vet in Orange County! If you know me, McCall, you know I volunteer with many animal shelters. I would do anything to help anyone’s animals or animals in general. Now its sadly time one of my babies need help.

On Friday, my mom got home from her photo shoot and when she comes home all of our dogs get so excited so Fergie just lays flat on her back and my mom picks her up, then she kind of shakes. On Saturday, my mom came home and my dad walked Fergie outside so that the other dogs didn't get her excited. She did NOT have a seizure and she was fine. On Easter Sunday, we came home from church and Fergie had a seizure or the vet said she could have “fainted.”

Sunday night, Fergie was up panting, so Monday morning early my mom took her to the vet. She was fine walking around the waiting room, got weighed etc. When the vet brought her to the back, Fergie got so nervous they had to give her CPR. She went into cardiac arrest. Thankfully they were able to get her back.

The vet we took her to then said Fergie needed to be transferred by ambulance with oxygen to the emergency vet to see a specialist with a cardiologist.  She has been on oxygen and is doing good while on oxygen.  If they take her out of the oxygen box/tank her gums and tongue turn blue.

They did an ultrasound and the vet said she has Pulmonary Hyper Tension.

Her X-Rays have improved from Monday 4/22 to today 4/23. Time in the 24 care hospital will allow her to heal. Because she is in an oxygen cage 24/7, it is really expensive and on medication to help her heart. The vet also wanted to do some more tests to see what other medications she may need. She is getting medicine every hour. We’re just praying the more time she’s able to be on the medication the quicker she’ll be able to breathe without the oxygen tank.

Fergie is apart of our family. She has been there with my family through thick and thin and now we need to be strong for her. She will heal we just need more time in urgent care. She is the best dog ever.

The amount of money it costs for her to be in the vet daily is really expensive. If you want specific details of how she is being treated and what medication she is on, please text me or call me. [phone redacted] . My Venmo is @McCall-Ryan and I can send you exactly what your contribution is going to . Fergie is at VCA Orange County Veterinary Specialists Emergency Animal Care.

Thank you all for the prayers. We have HOPE and FAITH in God. Pray for Fergie to heal. Any amount of money helps, we just don’t want to give up because we can’t afford the care she needs. Many dogs respond well to treatment and dogs can have an extended quality of life, Pulmonary Hyper Tension can be healed with hospitalization. The only certainty with this condition, if it doesn't get treated it will be fatal.
