Help Grammy (Alzheimer's/Dementia)

Grammy has always made her own decisions and lived on her own. Now that she is in the "moderate" stage of Alzheimer's/Dementia, she needs more assistance in her daily life.
We want to help her stay independent as long as possible. In order to do this, Grammy will be moving into a house with family members, but we need to make things workable to set up her living area so she can enjoy her own space to herself, complete with a private bathroom and a kitchenette area. This will require purchases for things such as a countertop oven with automatic shut-off, a small refrigerator, cabinets and a sink, and some pretty flowers and plants for her patio area. Your help will let us get things ready for Grammy and make a very difficult situation a bit better.
We set up a GoFundMe campaign to assist with the expenses involved with some of the Alzheimer's care needs. Grammy recently had eye surgery to remove cataracts. This was an essential health care remedy since she enjoys reading in her leisure time, but there were several expenses not covered by insurance. Additionally, Grammy has severe obstructive sleep apnea, but has not been able to remember to use the cpap machine correctly and therefore did not meet compliance requirements. She has lost stength and stamina as is often tired, and now with needing to pack for this move, Grammy is under more stress that is aggravated by the knowledge her memory and functioning are slipping.
Grammy will eventually need to move to assisted living, but this solution will give her some time to sort her items and reduce her possessions in preparation for the next stage of care. Finding a location with family and modifying the living environment to fit her needs will help with the adjustment of making Grammy's living space more tolerable for her. Perhaps she can enjoy some activities with friends and family she otherwise would not have been able to do. We want to preserve Grammy's health and let her enjoy these golden years.
