Help get Tobi an accessible car

Dear friend and badass single-parent Tobi needs help getting an accessible car!
After a bout of bad luck that led to their car breaking down repeatedly, Tobi has found themselves carless for the last 4 weeks.
Tobi’s Lupus - an autoimmune disease- means that they are vulnerable to inflammations that affect their immune system, joints, skin and internal organs.
In the last 4 weeks since giving up their car, and given that they live outside of London, Tobi’s had to take Gabi to school using public transport everyday despite their immunocompromised state, reduced mobility, and fear of sudden Lupus flare ups.
They need a new, accessible car ASAP, one with a lighter steering wheel so as to accommodate their fragile, hypermobile joints.
While Tobi does receive a standard rate PIP (personal independence payment), they are not currently entitled to a mobility car (which you can only get on a higher or enhanced rate). They’ve been fighting the DWP for over a year to receive the higher rate, but in the meanwhile their wrists, knees and ankles have been getting more regularly inflamed and painful.
Tobi’s been able to save some money, and so we are looking to raise enough to make up for the rest of the cost.
Please help me get Tobi back on the road!
