Alejandro Castillo, Brandon Rodriguez, and Ivan Watchman Jr competed in the New Mexico Silver Gloves tournament in Los Lunas, NM and won. Then earned their ticket to Compton, California for the 2018 Silver Gloves Region 8 Tournament. In Compton they competed against some of the best amateur boxers from Hawaii, Utah, Arizona, California, Colorado, and Nevada. They all won the championship in their respective weight classes, punching their ticket to the 2018 National Silver Gloves Tournament in Independence, Missouri.
These three young men will be representing Team New Mexico in Missouri. All three young men are from Albuquerque, NM and need your help to pay their way to Missouri to become National Champions. They all are registered USA Boxing members and train every day to learn how to become better young men. Donate and make their dreams and goals come to fruition!
