Help get Tanner to Boston Hospital
Donation protected
We are raising money to bring our 5-year-old, Tanner, to Boston Children’s Hospital to receive treatment for a very rare congenital airway disorder. The money raised will be used for travel and medical expenses as he undergoes several scheduled surgeries that will also require necessary follow-up trips and expenses. Receiving this treatment at Boston Children’s Hospital will greatly improve his quality of life and reduce his hospitalizations. Every dollar will help our sweet boy receive the treatment he needs!
Tanner was born at 29 weeks. At 2 years of age, Tanner started having seizures and showing signs of developmental delay. Now, at just shy of 6 years of age, we are finally getting the answers we have been tirelessly searching for for years. Tanner is immunocompromised and struggles with a huge variety of respiratory problems. Last month, Tanner underwent another surgery where they discovered a hole that was allowing food particles and liquids into his lungs.
After much research, we have recently learned and discovered that Boston Children’s Hospital has the highest level of care for this specific condition, and we will stop at nothing as we fight to give Tanner this incredible opportunity of being treated by the very best. We have a long way to go, but we start here as we work to nurse him back to great health. Please consider helping us get our family to Boston for these procedures that he so desperately needs AND deserves! We cannot thank you enough for joining us on this journey!
