Help get Ronan back on a dirtbike!
On Friday, January 25th 2019, Ronan's 2008 Yamaha PW 50 was stolen in broad daylight from the parking lot of him and his mother Cait's home on the lower mainland. Ronan and his mother are both avid dirtbikers and members of the PNWMA. Ronan had his first trophy ride at last year's monkey wrench which he rode and finished. We in the dirtbike and roadbike community know how important the next generation of riders are to our sport. We learn about failing/falling and getting back up and pushing on to complete the race. How metaphorically fitting for our lives. Cait has told me how amazing this young man is and how connected to his dirtbike he was, and still is. Even at this young age, he said that he was sad and disappointed, but " thankfull that they have a home and running water". I have contacted Alan Dekleer at Holeshot Racing in Langley to get a price on a 2019 PW50. They have one is stock and have set the price out the door at 2800$ including tax, PDI and Freight. I will personally cover one years worth of insurance for Cait and Ronan's bikes once this has come to a reality. I challenge all those who read this to find it within yourself to give a little to this incredible young man who is without a bike for the upcoming 2019 season. We are all a part of a larger community, so let's show Ronan how we step up to the plate and help when it really matters. Thanks for taking the time to read through this. Hope to see this through until that bike is being loaded up and delivered. PS. This new bike is just an option. If anyone has links or information on a newer, well maintained PW 50 then whatever we raise will go straight towards that purchase. Thank you again. Elijah Saarinen.+ Read More
