Make Mitch well again

Mitch, my beloved Border Collie, became poorly on the 22nd December. He was unable to walk well and 72 hours later he lost the ability to walk, stand and urinate by himself. He spent Christmas day like this. 

He is currently in a specialist veterinary hospital where today he underwent a CT scan and myelography (dye). The vet suspects either a large cyst compressing on his spinal cord, an embolism or even meningitis. His scans are getting sent to a specialist for confirmation and spinal fluid has been sent to the laboratory for testing.

The initial cost of the CT & myelography cost £1500. I have used what I had in my bank account (£900) to cover a part of that but that is all my savings gone. 

Mitch is my world. I can't have my best friend leave me just because I'm a recent university graduate wihout an income.  Anything that you can give will make all the difference and I will be truly grateful.


Mitch loves nothing more than a game of fetch with his ball. To see him unable to walk, deficating on himself breaks my heart, little by little everyday.

We go everywhere together. He gives me the confidence I need to go out on walks as I wear a prosthetic limb. Everyone that meets Mitch is immediatley besotted by his sweet nature. All the students at Aberdeen uni know him well- he loves nothing more than encouraging the students to play ball with him.
