Alma "Da Bawse" Keuhl is a Provincial arm wrestling champion from Petawawa, a small town in Eastern Ontario. She has been practicing her passion since she was 15 years old.
Alma currently holds 1st place in Ontario for her left arm, and National titles of 2nd place for her right and 3rd place for her left. She travels across North America to participate in city, state, provincial and national championship matches.
Alma’s goal is to be recognized for her strength by beating powerhouse Heidi Cordner, and to get more women involved in the sport.
Because of all her hard work and dedication, Alma has the opportunity to compete in the 2018 World Arm Wrestling Championships in Antayla, Turkey, from October 13-22 as part of Team Canada. Unfortunately there is little to no funding for Canadian athletes competing abroad and she needs to raise $2,000 in order to attend this competition. Lets help this Valley girl out.
