Help GB Women's softball to Japan!

I have started this Go fund me page on behalf of the British Women’s National Softball Team. I am the team’s longest serving player having played in 5 European Championships, and selected for my 5th World Championships being held this summer in Japan.
GB softball is unfortunately a sport that receives absolutely no funding to help cover the costs of entering major tournaments as a nation. This summer we will be competing at the World Championships in Chiba, Japan from 2nd-12th August, and at the super 6 tournament in Hoofddorp, The Netherlands from 17th-23rd September. Sadly each GB athlete will have to pays thousands of pounds out of their own pockets to represent their country in these two tournaments.
As a Women’s team we performed optimally at Europeans last summer in Bollate, Italy. For the first time in GB Women’s history we came out of the initial round robin stages undefeated. We came in the top 3 achieving the Bronze medal, and as mentioned qualified for the World Championships 2018. It shows the talent of our National team as without ANY funding at all we still manage to place as well as we do at the European and World level, and compete against the best teams in the world without training together much as a team before each tournament.
To give you an idea of the talent we possess our current competition ranked above us at the European level is Italy, and the Netherlands. Both teams receive funding from their sporting governing bodies to train, and play together as a team up to x5 times a week, year round.
With our GB athletes we train together for one week of the year, and play in one tournament together, and we are competing against the above teams that train as much as mentioned. Can you imagine how much stronger we would be if we had adequate funds to be able to train, and play together throughout the year also?
Reasons for us receiving no sponsorship money from our sporting governing bodies in the UK are because right now we are not seen as medal contenders for the Olympics 2020, however if we had enough funding to allow us to come together as a team more frequently I am highly confident our team will be the one to watch out for.
We are in the process over the next couple years of attempting to gain a qualifying spot at the 2020 Olympics in Japan. We have so much talent all throughout our line up with the majority of the team heading towards the prime of their careers. We also have a lot of talent coming up through the junior programs. We just need the opportunity to be able to breed this talent, and allow it to reach its full potential, as we are not there yet.
It all starts with this summer. Travelling to, and staying in Japan, and The Netherlands is not cheap, and we have 17 committed girls who are going to be working as hard as possible to cover these extortionate costs themselves whilst preparing physically, and mentally for the tournament.
We are hoping for as much financial support as possible to help lower the costs of this tour to the World Championships, and super six tournament. We work hard, we dream big, and we wear Great Britain on our chests with upmost pride, and passion. It is just a huge shame that money is the only limiting factor to us reaching our endless potential, and we want to do our upmost best for British Softball, and continue putting our name on the map.
