Help Fund Ziggy’s Vision Therapy

We are raising funds for 7 year old Ziggy – two months ago she went to the Optometrist for an eye checkup and they discovered she has several vision disorders that have caused her to have reading delays, headaches and severe motion sickness.
The vision disorders have caused double vision and low peripheral function and tremors in her vision
If left untreated can eventually lead to needing surgery and learning delays.
They are a are a single, low income family and need assistance with her treatment.
Her vision therapy costs $120 per week so that is nearly $500 monthly. She will be assessed again in a few months but the Dr. has estimated she will need approximately 8-9 months of treatment.
She’s already showing progress after only 7 sessions – her teacher at school has noted improvement in her concentration since she’s been diagnosed and started her weekly therapy and daily vision exercises.
Please any amount small and large will help them at this important time in keeping Ziggy in her weekly treatments which are strengthening Ziggy’s vision.
They couldn’t go for therapy this week as they just couldn’t afford the cost and have run out of money for Ziggy’s vision therapist costs.
There is no coverage available to help, but we are thankful this problem was discovered now and the treatments will help her difficulties in reading. The treatments are needed now, as Ziggy is going into grade 2 and needs to be able to learn to read, but has been delayed due to these problems with her vision.
