Help Fund Tippi's Cancer Surgery

Donation protected
Hi Everyone..

This is not something I would usually do and I have a very hard time asking for help, but in this case, I care about her more than myself, so I need to open up..

As most of you know, Charlie and I have 2 dogs: Tippi and Banana. Two days ago we found out that Tippi has an aggressive form of mammary cancer and will need to have BOTH her mammary chains removed in two separate and very complex surgeries, which will cost thousands of dollars.

BACKGROUND:
As many of you also know, we rescued both our dogs, and Tippi was our first. She had a very rough life prior to gracing us with her perfect little presence. While no one can be sure of exactly the trauma she has been through, we have a pretty good idea. She was used as a breeding dog, then a bait dog, and then thrown out into the street to starve and die. She was picked up by a kill shelter and contracted kennel cough. The shelter then posted her online stating she had 24hrs to be fostered/adopted or they would be putting her down. Charlie and I worked hand in hand with an amazing rescue: Rebound Hounds, and we began to foster her immediately. I'm telling you it took one single look at her precious little face and we knew we had to help her. Given all that Tippi had gone through, she had some issues to work out as well. We spent thousands of dollars on training, we got her kennel cough taken care of, and then we started to put some meat on those bones. After only two months of fostering, we knew she had to be ours. This was our baby and we would do anything for her. We proceeded to move into a bigger apartment just for her, we got her a little "bananas" sister to chase her around and keep her active and healthy, and we spoiled her rotten for two wonderful years..

And then about 2 weeks ago I was rubbing her belly and I felt a large bump. My mama instincts kicked in immediately. Something wasn't right. I felt it in my soul. So, we made an appointment to see the vet. On Saturday, September 7th, my happy little world came crashing down when we were told by our amazing vet (Dr. Houston of Dr. Cameron Animal Hospital in Montclair, NJ) that our perfect little baby had cancer, and she needed to be operated on immediately due to how aggressive these tumors tend to be and grow. She told us that Tippi has a 50/50 chance of survival. If they remove all the tumors and they are benign, she will live a long and happy life just as she was meant to.. but if they come back as malignant, she could have anywhere from a month to a year. The VERY VERY small bright side to this all is that Tippi is in NO PAIN, and it has NOT spread to any other part of her body at this time.

We are going to anything, and everything in our power to ensure she gets the highest standard of care and gets the very best treatments, medications, and therapys needed for her to live the long and happy life she deserves. But.. that will cost us a ton of money, that we frankly just don't have it all. So, I am swallowing my pride and begging you all for absolutely ANYTHING you can give to help. No donation is too small. I can provide vet records to anyone that is skeptical of this but I assure you I would never ask for any of this if it was not for her. She is my entire world. She is my child. She keeps me sane. She is my therapy. She is the reason I wake up everyday, and I just need her to be okay. She has to be okay.

Please help or share if you cannot donate, every little bit will help us out right now.

Thank you in advance,
Deann, Charlie, Banana, and last but certainly not least, Tippi<3
