Help fund my Stringing Career!

Hello dear friends and patrons across the internet!

My name is Eric Lin as it states in that picture above, and I've recently in this past year began stringing for Yonex for larger-scale events. Currently, so far I have strung at:
- 2015 K&D Graphics OCBC Grand Prix in December 2015,
- 2016 USA Junior International Team Trials
- 2016 Yonex US Open in Los Angeles
and there will be at least one more event remaining this year for me to bring my services.

A little background about me: I began seriously playing badminton at the age of 14 and have since began stringing from the age of 16. As far as badminton is concerned, I've garnered a wealth of experience in regards to different badminton stringing techniques and styles, and I am fairly quick as a whole in a local level - but there is much much more for me to learn and more to improve in different areas.

My goal is to thus improve my stringing ability and also for me to begin stringing for Tennis in whatever means possible in order to increase my stringing knowledge and improve my skillset, and expand my stringing career for the future. I am ambitious enough to hope to be sent overseas for any future tournaments or even around the country if it may be seen fit on my journey to become a better stringer.

This is a very personal and somewhat selfish request, and I do not often ask for help at all but I beseech the local and extended communities for an opportunity to further my career in stringing. I would like to raise $8000 towards a Yonex Protech 8 machine (pictured below) - hopefully within the next 30 days, for my own personal usage to hone my skills and to better provide services for the local community as a Yonex certified stringer.


It is perhaps a bit of a 'latest and greatest' in terms of stringing machines, but the key factor here is that this is most likely going to be the same (model) machine that I will be using in the future and it's best to stay consistent in that regard, in order to better offer services to professionals coming from around the world and for local professionals and recreational players alike.

It is quite a steep fee which is why I came to ask the community for crowd-funding as a means. I would not have the words to express my gratitude for those of you who would donate out of the bottom of your hearts, and I would be forever grateful at the very least and remember such deeds.

On the other hand, I understand that some people expect something in return so therefore for local SGV/LA/OC donators - at their behest - I would be inclined to offer for every $10 donated a racket (Badminton or Tennis) strung (Ergo every $10 donated would be counted towards the labor of a racket now or in the future when the machine arrives). Other arrangements may be accommodated, but please contact me for further information to that end. It doesn't have to be for now and it could be for future uses even years ahead.

Regardless, I thank you all who've taken the time to read this plea for help and I hope that you will at least give some consideration to my cause however small and insignificant it is. It means a lot for even to be acknowledged as a stringer, and for your donation I believe it to mean to acknowledge my cause as well as my ability and I would have no higher honor on that regard.
