The Backstory
Whether you know me from school, work, friends of friends, or maybe Facebook alone my ask of humility is all the same, and your impact of support appreciated in my time of need. I am starting this GoFundMe account to raise money for my Aunt’s Celebration of Life. On April 29th, just 2 years from a traumatic medical event she took her last breathe and her journey with us ended. In this most tragic of times, we have been unable to access potential benefits to help pay for a sendoff for such a woman of beauty and kindness. While we find ourselves navigating more emotion and grief than could ever be anticipated, we are at a loss with this added devastation.
Who She Was
My aunt was a beautiful woman who warmed the hearts of many. Her mantra was one of teaching others to embrace and love themselves. She dedicated her career to Blue Cross Blue Shield as a Claim Specialists for 32 years. She was dedicated to helping the lives of others and for that, she deserves a beautiful home-going service.
The Costs
We are trying to raise $4,000 in order to pay for her services. (Home-going Service: To express all of inner emotions & send prayers, Obituaries: to reflect on her life and past experiences, and Repast: To be together as a family & Share the endless love and memories that were created with her)
