Help Frances Walmsley Kick Bladder Cancers Butt!

Donation protected
My wife Frances Walmsley was diagnosed with Bladder Cancer July 23, 2019. She had her first surgery August 8,2019 where they removed the tumor. The pathology came back with Stage 1 Aggressive High Grade Non-Invasive Papillary Urothelial Carcinoma. She had a second surgery on September 11, 2019 to remove the remaining of the tumor. Then on November 5, 2019 she had to have surgery to remove her kidney stones.

Frances is the up most strongest person we all know and always has a smile on her face and will make you laugh no matter whats happening. Frances has so much courage and I'm asking if you can help Frances and her family keep her hope up as she's going to be having her fourth surgery on December 18, 2019 to have her bladder removed.

Unfortunately Medical EI is only 15 weeks and her work does not have short or long term insurance. Frances started on Medical Ei back in August 2019 and went back to work in October until she had her third surgery in November. Frances only has 4 weeks left of Medical Ei which ends December 21, 2019.

Frances had to do Iron Infusion Therapy Nov 15 and 21 as her Iron has been low. They need to get her Iron up before the surgery.

I am off work at this time to care for my wife as she needs to go to appointments before having her surgery in December and to help with house keeping and caring for our daughter Samantha. It is unknown at this time if Frances will need to do Chemo as we will no more when she has the surgery.

We don't know when Frances can return to work it is undetermined at this time.

Frances is having her surgery at Vancouver General Hospital and will be in the hospital 7-10 days. I will have to travel back and fourth from our home in Aldergrove and we all know what that commute is like and how much parking is.

Frances has been there for all of us be it a kind word, a hug when needed or just putting a smile on your face.

You may know Frances from school growing up or where she has worked either Save On Foods, Choices Markets, or her currant job at Ralph's Farm Market where she got to know you personally by chatting with you and bagging your groceries with a smile on her face.

Now it's our time to help HER!!

Any little bit helps to offset this terrible disease that causes stress on the family financial and medical needs.

Thank you

Her husband William Walmsley
