Help for the Lancasters

I am sorry if this is the way you are finding out. The hardest part so far has been telling our family & friends. Brad has cancer. He has been in pain for a few months & received the diagnosis a few weeks ago. It is at stage 4. Today is the first day of work he has missed. We were at Loyola where he had a procedure involving a feeding tube in preparation for surgery on April 3rd. Brads intentions are to go to work!! He will not be able to go to work. Several people suggested i start this gofundme campaign so that he can rest and not have to worry so much. I am a private person and not so comfortable with this but it is necessary. Over the years i have often thought about how grateful i am that we have always had just enough....just enough to get by. When things came up we found a way to get what we needed. This is what i am hoping to accomplish with this gofundme. Brad is looking at a 12 hour surgery. They are removing half his jaw. Recovery, radiation & chemo. I really can not wrap my brain around it. I am looking to get the mortgage paid. This is what i want to raise for him. For us. Hannah is planning to go to the local college to become a nurse. A nurse!! We have to hold on to what we have and get through. Perhaps we will get by with a little help from our friends. The Beatles. Brads favorite.
