Help for Refugees in Frankfurt

Donation protected
The Refugee camp run by Caritas in Frankfurt is trying to fund a trip to Lochmühle, a local amusement park, for its refugee families who have recently arrived to Germany.

This is more than just a trip to an amusement park. These families and children  have experienced trials beyond what most of us can comprehend. They have come from areas such as Turkey, Syria, Afghanistan and African countries.  Some of them have traveled thousands of miles by foot or boat, leaving family behind.  Many have traveled ahead to apply for family reunification once they arrive in Germany.  There are many who have endured severe personal trauma and have lost loved ones.

This trip would give these families an opportunity to have a little 'normal' in their new life after their whole world has been turned upside down, and will never be the same.  The camp goal for activities like this are to teach, have fun, and build relationships.

If we can reach our goal of 1,200 dollars, every family at the center will be able to attend this special opportunity.
