Help for Palu - Donggala survivors
A series of powerful earthquake hit Palu and Donggala of Central Sulawesi in Indonesia, caused strike-slip (soil liquefaction) and tsunami on Friday, 28 October 2018. As reported on Tuesday, 2 October 2018 *), the disaster has killed 1,234 people, 99 missing and 799 people are heavily injured. The casualties are expected to rise significantly, as evacuation process has just covered a few area of impact.
The 7.5 magnitude earthquake destroyed more than 65,000 of home in the city as well hotel, hospital and large store. There are 61.867 people evacuating from Palu and Donggala, they are distributed to 109 locations. Because of the devastating impact of the disaster, the survivors are in serious need of foods, waters and medicine.
We are group of Indonesian living at the cities in united states, currently raising funds to help Palu and Donggala survivors. We already make a collaboration with a relief fund in Indonesia, namely LAZISNU **) who is currently coordinating helps for the Palu and Donggala survivors.
