Help for Mackzie the Hairless Dog

Mackzie, my 2 year old Chinese Crested Hairless dog is in need of urgent medical care that at present is beyond my financial reach. Mackzie took a fall and broke her leg which requires surgery by a veterinarian orthopaedic specialist.  Without the surgery the Vet is recommending amputation which is a horrific alternative that my heart nor mind can rationalize or accept.  Lovers of the Crested Breed know, and many have experienced how fragile a bone structure these magnificent little dogs have and also how energetic and free spirited they are, which is what landed Mackzie in crisis. 
The irony of the circumstances is that Mackzie is not only my heartbeat,  she is the subject of a series of children's books God put on my heart to write to promote kindness,  self esteem and inclusion which are narrated and illustrated through and by Mackzie. While writing these stories, I envisioned the oddest most whimsical little dog to help me send my message of self love and love for others. I prayed and asked God to send me the dog in my mind's eye and in my dreams.  I knew she not only had to look special,  she had to be special. This dog I had envisioned had to be memorable with the ability to touch hearts. And along came Mackzie!  She was ALL THESE THINGS AND MORE! I cannot articulate the love I have for her. We have only begun our quest in helping children and there is so much more to do. This accident has presented a need for Mackzie to become a recipient of help rather than a giver of it. 

The Veterinarian's quote for surgery is 5500 - 7000 dollars, funds  that I unfortunately do not have presently, due to a year of ongoing and unforseen family crisis. It would appear for the outside such a crisis is non existent but this year has presented crisis in health, loss of loved ones, family crisis; and now a threat to my beloved Mackzie and our purpose to spread a message that will enhance the lives of children. Some of these events have exhausted my options of acquiring additional funds needed to provide Mackzie the critical and urgent medical attention she so desperately needs. 

As a Christian,  my first petition for assistance is  to God through prayer. Philippians 4: 6 says,  " Be anxious for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving make your request known unto God".  God moves through people and He has sent some who have offered without me even asking. God has used this crisis not only to show Himself strong,  but to establish family through those who may have otherwise remained strangers to me and to one another. So many have agreed in prayer with me which prompted people to reach out and help Mackzie through a financial blessing, thus creating a need for a GO Fund Me page. I appreciate this gesture more than words can say and would invite them and all others who'd wish to donate to Mackzies wellness fund to contribute. Mackzie and I thank you and are humbled by all who give through prayer, words of encouragement and/or monetarily. I am in awe of the Lord's doing and overtaken with gratitude by your generosity and love.  Your kindness will help mend Mackzies broken leg and my broken heart.
