Help for Houston - Logan and Erin

On Saturday Aug 26th, 2017 the rain began to fall in Houston and the Molloy's, a young couple who recently purchased their first home braced for Hurricane Harvey. Erin who was born in Montreal, Canada and his wife Logan, a teacher in Houston weren't too worried. The young couple were well prepared with hurricane insurance and were not located in a flood zone; or so they thought. Sunday morning they saw water moving between tiles inside their home, they tried to barricade the doors with towels to absorb the water coming into the house; apparently, the levees were released, causing areas outside the flood zones to sustain water damage. They secured beloved animals, and watched as their newly purchased home became unlivable. The clean up began as soon as the water reseeded, and they proceeded to display the life they built together outside to dry. Unfortunately, they didn’t have flood insurance, and the hurricane coverage did not protect them.

The damage is extensive and will take an estimated 35K to get the house back to where is was before. They need machines to dry it out, antimicrobial treatments, new furniture, carpet, tile and counters. We at Traction on Demand want to help them with this process. We have a team in Houston with a personal connection to this couple, who have already put a ton of time and energy into their cleanup efforts. We support our Tractionites who do good things!

We need to get enough money together in the next 2 weeks to get antimicrobial treatment into the home to ward off the mold and then reconstruction can begin.
