Help for Gioia Mancinelli

We would like to provide an update on Gioia Mancinelli.
We are sad to report that Gioia is very ill. When she returned home after hurrricane Irma in September 2017, she did her best to repair her home and reopen her salon. She was not well then and was eventually hospitalized. Her back was severely injured and her cancer returned with a vengeance.
Gioia has received many cards from concerned friends and surely her facebook account and phone have unanswered messages. Please understand that if she could answer, she would. Her cancer has progressed to the point where she is unable to complete simple tasks on her own - she cannot even use her phone.
Gioia is unable to care for herself and requires 24 hour care. She is currently living in a convalescent home where she will likely spend her last days. This seems impossible since she is the strongest person we all know. She has spent so much time taking care of everyone else but now we want to help her.
Upon returning home after Irma, Gioia declined quickly. She had no time for estate planning beyond what she already had in place. Her medical bills and other expenses are above the amount that insurance will cover and Gioia's home is at risk.
We are reaching out to ask for help honoring Gioia's final wish - that her granddaughter Angelina graduates high school while continuing to live in Gioia's home in the Florida keys, where she grew up. ALL contributions will help pay bills and cover the expenses of Gioia's home. Kat Trapani (Gioia's first cousin) and Lisa Minnetto (Gioia's niece) are accepting these donations. The funds will be kept in a trust for Angelina that is closely managed by Kat and Lisa.
