On March 12, Franklin suffered a stroke in one side of his brain stem. On March 14 he became hypoxic and his heart stopped. He was coded and then intubated and placed on a ventilator.
On March 18 the pressure in his brain was critically high and a emergency craniotomy was preformed. He then suffered blood clots in his lung and leg and he developed pneumonia. It’s been five weeks and he is still in the ICU. He is slowly recovering and will need a lengthy rehabilitation.
