Help for Debbie Bonn

On April 5, 2018 my Mom, Debbie Bonn, was in a terrible car accident.  Her Jeep left the road and rolled into a ravine leaving her hanging upside down in her seatbelt.  She sustained a severe spinal cord injury and had to undergo surgery on April 10, 2018.  She has paralysis from the accident and can not yet walk or do anything for herself on her own.  She has slowly gotten a little movement back in her arms and legs and we are hoping it continues to improve and she will one day be able to walk and use her hands/arms again.  She is currently at the University of Washington Medical Center but is scheduled to be released to go home June 1, 2018.    She is going to need a lot of special equipment at home in order to be taken care of properly in her current state.  Some equipment the insurance will help cover ... but other items she needs they will not cover.  Her home is not at all handicap accessible and some changes need to be made including making the bathroom accessible for her use and making necessary doorways wide enough to fit her electric wheelchair she will be coming home in (pictured above).  They will also be needing a handicap accessible vehicle that will accommodate her wheel chair in order to take her to her appointments or anywhere she needs to go.  They do not have the means for all of these unexpected expenses so the family is asking for your help.  Anything you are able to donate will help them be able to afford what she needs to make it at home ... where she wants to be.  Thank you so much for your consideration.  If you can not afford to donate I completely understand but please share and pass this along ... the more people that see it, the better chance we have of reaching our goal and helping my Mom.
