Help for Dan Wintercorn

My son Dan was walking near Union Station in Chicago when a person came up to him asking for a cigarette. Dan told the man he didn't have one and the man started screaming at him  and then pulled out a hunting knife. He tried to slash his throat and then stabbed him in the abdomen. Fortunately one person had the decency to  assist him and call 911. Dan was rushed to Northwestern Hospital where he received emergency surgery and is now in stable condition.
Please help him with the hospital bills and loss of income he will now be faced with. Thank You!
