Help for artist Miguel von Dangel

Miguel Von Dangel, winner of the 1990 National Art Prize of Venezuela, has been in the hospital for the past two weeks due to cardiac and lung compications. After being treated in the ICU which included blood transfusions,  he was given  a cardiac catheterization and is presently  under observation. He was originally taken to the emergency unit at a public hospital in Caracas on April 30th in the middle of violent unrest in  many areas of the city  but the conditions in the hospital were so dire he was sent to the Leopoldo Aguerreverre Clinic  where the doctors immediately took charge.  We are grateful for the quick and expert help from the doctors which has translated in a gradual improvement for Miguel.  Yet all these treatments now represent a debt with the hospital of 10000 euros which needs to be paid in approximately  the next  15 days. El 30 de abril, fue internado de urgencia en un deplorable hospital de Caracas por lo que fue trasladado a la clínica Aguerrevere donde, gracias a una buena atención profesional, mejoró notoriamente. El día 8 de mayo, fue trasladado al Centro Médico de San Bernardino (también en Caracas), donde le realizaron un cateterismo que ha mejorado su condición. Estamos muy agradecidos a las clínicas y profesionales que lo han atendido. El 20 de mayo,hace ocho días, lo reingresaron por una fuerte hemorragia en el testino delgado que hasta ahora no se ha logrado resolver. En los próximos días debemos cubrir una deuda de 10000 Euros que incluyen la hospitalización y los tratamientos que se le está aplicando.
