Help Fix Richie's Outback

Friends, as I'm sure most of you are aware by now, our good friend Richard Neindorf has recently been diagnosed with stage 3 adeno carcinoma (or rectal cancer in layman's terms).

This has obviously come as a huge and devastating shock for Rich and his family, and as his friends we are all still standing open-mouthed in disbelief that this could happen to such a young, health conscious, amazing human being. Richie really is one of the most genuine and caring people in our lives. He's one of a kind, and we are all heartbroken knowing that he is in the midst of, and still has, an extremely difficult fight ahead of him.

To give you a bit of info on where Richie is at -
He is currently in week three of a five week treatment cycle, that is five days per week of chemo and radiation. Roughly 2 months after the treatment has ended he will go in for an operation to remove the cancerous tumour, along with a section of his colon.
Once recovered from the op he will likely undergo another 5 weeks of chemo and radiation. After he is recovered, he will go in for another operation to reverse the ileostomy he had in February.

Along with the physical and mental battle Rich is facing, comes a lot of unplanned expenses. Here's an idea of what he's in the midst of, and what he faces in the coming months:
I will start by saying that he has to manage any extra costs on a reduced salary because he is only able to work part time with his current treatment schedule (and healthcare doesn't cover complete reimbursement), and the fact that his energy levels are at about 30% of what they usually would be while his body is fighting the cancer, and feeling the effects of the treatment.
He is incurring some medical expenses that aren't fully covered by BC healthcare.
He is paying for car share rides to and from the cancer clinic 5 days of the week for radiation.
We would like to organize a pre-made meal delivery service as having the energy for things like cooking is currently a luxury for Rich - and unfortunately he has dropped a fair amount of weight since starting his treatment.
On top of that are of course the general rent and bills expenses, and as we all know these can sometimes be enough of a strain on a full salary, along with several expenses that Rich still has to take care of back in Australia.

Any financial support you could provide Rich in this difficult time would be very much appreciated, you know that if the shoe was on the other foot he would be there for you in a heartbeat.

Thank you, and let us keep sending Richie all the love and support we can muster.
