HELP FIND “BOURBON” BEFORE HE DIES

Bourbon and his friend “whisky” were dumped in a wooded area in Missouri city, TX  behind Sienna Plantation .Whiskey went right up to Whitney And her husband, the ones who first spotted them there as they were driving by. 
Bourbon would not follow Whiskey to Whitney’s husband.  He was more cautious, afraid, heartbroken and now alone.  He lay in that same area waiting for the owners to come back.  Whitneys husband tried and I tried but could not get close. So we decided that he has to gain our trust. So I sat for 4 days,in the open field area with him,  just sitting and talking to him and throwing him chicken, 3-4 hours at a time every day.  Trying to get him to trust me.  He knew I would be back. It rained on us most of the time and the other times it was hot, muggy and mosquitoes swarmed us. When he finallly came close enough to let me put a leash on him we were so excited!!!“

We knew he needed to see a vet pretty quick so he went to a wonderful vet in fulshear that offered to take care of him and let him stay at the hospital, and work with us on his bills, even though he was a stray and they knew nothing about him. they kept him for a few days treating him for dehydration, exhaustion, starvation, hookworms, uri, fleas and he was loaded with huge ticks, and tested positive for heartworms, His teeth are ALL worn down flat. The vet said he seems to have had a really hard life.
On the morning of, September 18, 4 days after being at the vet, day we were picking him up, “Bourbon” broke out of the vets backyard when they took him out to go to the bathroom.  We are not sure why he did it, he did not show any signs before that, he was feeling better, more secure, happier and even started to play.  We think something may have triggered a traumatizing memory that caused him to literally bend the gate and get out! They ran after him and They searched everywhere for hours, along with all of us. 

But he disappeared into thin air, we searched for days, then 3 days later, out of nowehere someone sees him on 99 close to 59!! 
He had walked for three days and was headed towards Sienna! But something happened, something scared him, or someone tried to chase him, we are not sure.  Except that he disappeared before anyone could grab him. The next day he was spotted about 5 miles from the first sighting, but disappeared again. He has been seen a few times within a 8-10 mile radius from first sighting but disappears!

He is now terrified of people, he won’t go up to anyone or  where people are at. The last sighting was 5 days ago at harlem and 99,  a sweet lady spotted him and called us, we rushed up there and he recognized me, came up to me and started eating his chicken (his fav) but he was still unsure about getting to close, it killed me to see him looking so bad, his face was sunk in, had lost so much weight, mosquitoes were just swarming him, his eyes were full of green mucous and he acted so confused, exhausted and traumatized.  
Then a car pulled up just wanting to help, he freaked and took off running, he went up and over 99 then disappeared again. 

A large group of us have been searching everyday, posting everywhere, handing out flyers and asking anyone we see if they have seen him.  

It will be 2 weeks Tuesday he has been on the street!! 

Our ONLY and LAST chance of ever finding him is to have an experienced professional tracker come out and search for him.  
And once her dogs do find him, the only way to catch him is to have an experienced professional darter, dart him.  

This is our last chance to save his life!!!! He walks the streets not knowing where to go or what to do, alone, starving, sick, and his heart and soul are broken. He has given up on humans ever saving him and loving him!!!

PLEASE PLEASE WE ARE BEGGING FOR YOUR HELP TO RAISE THE MONEY TO PAY THE TRACKER AND DARTER TO COME OUT TOMORROW, SUNDAY, ITS THE ONLY DAY THEY HAVE OPEN TO COME THIS FAR AND WE DONT HAVE ANYMORE TIME TO SPARE IN SAVING HIM! WE HAVE TO ACT NOW.  

THIS IS OUR LAST AND ONLY CHANCE TO FIND HIM!!

The tracker and darter are willing to do this for Bourbon at half the fee they normally charge because they have been following Bourbons story and want to find him as much as we do!

The tracker lives 5 hours away and the darter lives 2 hours away and it does cost them out of their own pocket to do this. They have to pay pay for their supplies and traveling expenses. They are only charging us to cover what comes out of their pocket! 


SO PLEASE PLEASE HELP US FIND HIM BEFORE HE DIES ALONE SOMEWHERE WHERE NOBODY WILL FIND HIM, FEELING LIKE HE NEVER BELONGED TO ANYONE, FEELING LIKE NOBODY HAS EVER LOVED HIM AS IF HE DIDN’T MATTER TO ANYONE AT ALL! 

BECAUSE HE DOES MATTER!!!

HE IS VERY LOVED BY SO MANY!!

HE DOESN’T DESERVE THE LIFE HE WAS GIVEN, BY HORRIBLE HUMANS.
