Help Support Evelyn’s Adaptive Van & Many Expenses

Donation protected
When my granddaughter Evelyn was 4 months old she was diagnosed with a rare genetic condition called lissencephaly. This means her brain is smooth and lacks the folds and grooves needed to process information correctly. Along with this condition comes many challenges for her such as severe, hard to treat seizures, hypotonia, low vision/cortical vision impairment, feeding difficulties and a shortened life expectancy, just to name a few. Currently, she is unable to crawl or walk and is non verbal. She has daily seizures and is completely dependent for all daily needs.
(Evelyn's first EEG test)

(The brain on the left is Evelyn's MRI and the brain on the right is a typical brain with grooves and folds)

Despite this diagnosis, she is a strong, hard working little girl and is involved in physical, occupational, speech, vision, and early on intervention therapies weekly. She has specialist and therapy appointments all over the metropolitan area so they are constantly on the move and traveling. Miss Evelyn is growing so quickly and getting very heavy. Her low tone makes her "floppy" and she doesnt help with her weight at all so getting her in and out of her small vehicle is difficult. Her head control is inconsistent and she whips backwards causing many accidental head bumps on the door frame. Also, the car is currently packed to the top of all her medical equipment/special chairs they have to travel with to accomadate her.

Here are some pictures of equipment they take with them to accomadate Evelyn in her day to day activities:
(sorry its sideways, this is her stander they would love to be able to have room to bring with them)

An adaptive van would give them the room they need and can install handicap ramps to make things easier and safer to travel and be active in the community. My daughter Jessica would like to be able to take Evelyn on adventures in life as well so it's not all just specialist and therapy appointments and a van would make that possible.

Jessica is a single mom who gives her all to do everything possible to make Evelyn's life wonderful. I am asking to help raise money for a handicap van and thanking everyone in advance on behalf of Evelyn for helping improve her quality of life.
