Help Erin Childs beat brain cancer

In March, Erin experienced a seizure on a typical Sunday at home. She was rushed to the local hospital and quickly transferred to the excellent care of Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago. She was diagnosed with a brain tumor. She had surgery the next day and aprox 45% of the tumor was removed. After that, she had a course of treatment including daily chemo and radiation. Erin has faced this treatment with her trademark smile - she is truly beautiful inside and out.
These treatments were not curative, so Erin, together with Mom Barb, Dad Dave and fiancee Chris have been tirelessly searching for more options and alternative treatment. They have travelled to Mayo Clinic in MN and Johns Hopkins in MD. Two of the foremost brain cancer hospitals in the United States. At this writing, they are anxiously awaiting input from the team at Johns Hopkins.
As you know, the costs incurred for both the travel and the challenge of looking for alternative treatments which may not be covered by insurance are huge.
