As some of you may know its with great sadness , on Wednesday August 22nd 2018 our father was on his boat and there was a fire. Its believed there was a leak in the stove and when he lit the pilot there was a small explosion. Unfortunately the burns were severe and they were unable to save him. He was surrounded by his family and wasn't in pain. For anyone who knew our father they knew the giant heart he had. He was an amazing father and grandfather who lived for us kids. He was the foundation of our family and it's gonna be hard to not have him here. He was a funny,compassionate, loving man , and had a heart of gold. He lived his life to stand up for others ,to help anyone he could and to make a positive difference. If you knew our father then no doubt you experienced this at one point. My sister's and I are struggling with coping with the loss of our father and trying to honor him as well as trying to take care of some of the unexpected expenses. Were hoping to raise some money for his service, medical bills, and damage to neighboring boats caused by the fire. Thank you for your time and any help you can give even if it's just sharing.
