Help Diana go to DC for Grad School

Hi, Everyone! Thank you so much for viewing my gofund me. As you all know, going to grad school is a financial undertaking, not taken lightly. To wade into the deep end one must have confidence, drive, goals, and willingness to see it through. Theatre and acting in general is a wildly growing and diversifying industry. It's a rare, life-changing opportunity to train with professional artists to go out and create in so many varied media. That's what this opportunity is for me. A real, solid chance to start a life-long career in acting.

I am an actor living and working in Raleigh, but with bigger dreams and goals. To that end, I have been accepted into the Shakespeare Theater Company's amazing one year MFA programs through George Washington University in DC. I am overwhelmed and excited for this incredible opportunity.

I have some support through loans for the school itself, other scholarships and such. But living in DC is expensive, and during this program I will not have time to work. The program is intense and fits three years of study and technique into one year with world class teachers. 

With your support I will pay for all the living basics. Food, Shelter, transportation, and other yearly expenses surrounding my study. In exchange I will be journaling my experience and be using Patreon to provide and inside look at this exclusive program. I will also be making advice videos, creating art, and with you backing I can use my free time to give back and participate in volunteer opportunities through The Shakespeare Theater Company and in DC. I hope through me bettering myself, I can create opportunities for others.

I will begin schooling in August and will be solely focused on school then. It is imperative for support soon after because most of my savings will be exhausted soon after.
