Help Denise Clement fight Stage 4 Breast Cancer

Donation protected
Allow me to tell you about my beautiful, beloved wife, Denise. She is an absolute wonderful light filled with unconditional love to those who have been blessed to know her. If you have met her, even briefly, you know how true this is. Countless people who have been acquainted with her have told me how special she is, and how lucky I am to be married to her. Let me tell you I am fully aware...I love her immensely! Her family, friends and coworkers all do, as well. Denise is a mother to four wonderful daughters, and grandmother to four wonderful grandchildren. She has been blessed with an amazing family.

In January of 2016, Denise felt a lump in her breast. A shocking and surreal moment that changed her life from that day forward. She proceeded to have a lumpectomy, and a biopsy confirmed it to be stage 2 triple-negative breast cancer, an agressive form without any targeted therapies. Thankfully, after four months of treatments and lots of prayers, she had complete remission.  She was able to return to a normal life once again.

In April of 2018, my wife had a lump quickly form on her sternum, along with shooting pains across her chest to her back. She was diagnosed with Costochondritis, which was explained to her as a very common occurrence. She went into therapy to correct this, but months of treatment did not reduce the inflammation. In fact, it got larger and the pain only got worse.

Then, earlier this year,  she felt a swollen lymph node near her clavicle. Suddenly, a familiar earth-shattering feeling crept back into her.  A biopsy of the lymph node proved it to be stage 4 triple-negative breast cancer. She returned to various therapies to fight the cancer, but nothing has improved her condition. She now has another lump aggressively growing under her arm. Also, the mass on her chest is not what it was originally diagnosed to be. It is a tumor growing in a lymphatic duct, which can spread to more lymph nodes and possibly to her lungs.

We are now pursuing more intensive therapy at a cancer center in another state to get the best care and healing available to her. Unfortunately, with the cost of treatments, travel and Denise not being covered with disability pay, my income only pays a fraction of the accruing bills. We are hard workers with high integrity, so asking for financial help up to this point was unthinkable. Through a lot of thought, discussions and prayer, we have decided to reach out to those who are willing and able to lend us a hand at getting my wife the care she needs. Like many others living with cancer, she is experiencing a nightmare she can't wake up from. Living with pain, and thoughts of her situation are a daily struggle. We ask that you please give what you are comfortable with, and be assured that any donation is greatly appreciated. All funds raised will be contributed to medical expenses.

Aside from Denise’s cancer, her sister, Shelly, was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer in late 2018. She tragically lost her battle, and passed away in May. She was a beautiful, loving woman who gave so much to her children, and to so many people who knew her. Nothing in life has been more heartbreaking than the loss of our precious Shelly.

As difficult as it is, we must remain focused on fighting Denise’s battle until victory.  She is a strong person, but with God's unfailing love and strength , and her family and friends, we know she will come out of this victorious, once again. Though Denise has given so much love and time to others, she has so much more yet to give.  She's one amazing woman! Thank you for taking a moment to read about my lovely wife, and thank you for your prayers and support!
