Help Denise Fight Breast Cancer

Our sister, Denise, is a 47 year old wife and mother of an 9 year old boy. In August 2018, she was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Her world was turned upside down. Anxiety and fear cannot describe the emotions Denise and her family have been through as they deal with the reality of this diagnosis.  This has been even more devastating as it follows on the news of our mother's diagnosis of Pancreatic Cancer only a few months earlier. 

Denise has been diagnosed with Invasive Ductal Carcinoma, Breast Cancer.  Unfortunately, subsequent scans detected that the cancer has spread to her lymph nodes. She is currently undergoing chemo treatments and is unable to work as her job in health care puts her at too much risk of infection.  Following Chemo, Denise will be facing surgery to remove cancerous tissue from her breast and a heavy round of radiation treatments to hopefully eradicate it from her body. 

We have had so many of Denise's friends ask what they can do to help and many have suggested a Go Fund me page. 

Funds raised will go directly to Denise & Jeff to help offset the financial burden of Cancer.  Denise is currently on a medical leave with only a portion of her salary covered.  As well, there are additional medications required and significant travel costs relating to Oncologist appointments, scans/tests and radiation treatments.
