Oleg Daraselia, 38 yrs old, died on November 11, 2018 in a very tragic car accident. He is leaving behind three boys (10-yr old twins Georgiy and Grigory, and 5-yr old son Gleb), and his wife Yana Daraselia,
who is seven months pregnant with their fourth son.
Oleg was born and raised in Novgorod, Russia. At the age of 18 he entered the Police Academy, becoming an active police officer 2 years later. Oleg and Yana meet in 2001 and immediately fell in love.
They have never been apart since and got married in 2005.
In 2007, Oleg and Yana welcomed their sons - twins Georgiy and Grigory. The brothers were born premature. Their eyesight was negatively impacted because of indecent hospital care and a doctor’s
malpractice. They underwent multiple eye surgeries, both as babies and later on. Yana and Oleg worked day and night trying to find the best specialists and care for their sons. Currently, the boys need special
care because of their disability.
Despite all the challenges life brought to them, Oleg and Yana always remained extremely loving andcaring for each other. In 2013 they welcomed their third son, Gleb, a very healthy strong boy.
Graduating with a degree in psychology, Yana held part-time job as a hotel manager to help to providefor the growing family. Oleg served for almost 20 years and was still on active duty when his life tragically
ended.
We cannot take away the loss for Yana and her children but we can ease some of her financial burdens which will be with her for the rest of her life. Please help us support Yana, their three boys and their new
soon-to-arrive baby who will not be able to meet his loving father.
