Help Dannielle Fight

After a trip to the ER and an 8 hour surgery the next day, my mother Dannielle Stickney was diagnosed with Colon Cancer that metastasized to the lymph nodes in her ovaries and also metastasized to Stage 4 Liver Cancer at age 37. The current treatment plan is chemo with surgery and more chemo following.

She will be having 6 treatments every 2 weeks for a total of 12 weeks. At 4 weeks they will check to see if the chemo is doing anything. If all goes well at this check, she will be headed to surgery at Mass General, followed by more Chemo.

Dannielle did not have short term or long term disability and of course cannot get it now. While health insurance will cover some of the expenses, we are quickly learning just how astronomical the cost of fighting cancer is and health insurance will not cover all of the necessary treatment costs. I share this with the hopes of providing some support so that my Mom can solely concentrate on fighting the cancer and not deal with the  mounting non-covered medical bills.
