I’ve launched this campaign because Danielle has Metastatic Thyroid Cancer and she is running out of options.
Danielle has been battling metastatic thyroid cancer for over six years. Danielle has been doing everything she can to find a treatment that works and that gives her a better quality of life. She has traveled far and wide and recently even moved across the country from New York to Orlando, FL in hopes of finding the right treatment.
Danielle Needs To Find The Best Treatment ASAP
Danielle needs to find an effective treatment that saves her life as soon as possible. She doesn’t have time to travel to every cancer center in the United States in order to discover the best treatment options at each center. So what is she supposed to do?
Driver was created to serve patients like Danielle. Driver enables Danielle to be simultaneously evaluated for treatments across the top 25 cancer centers in the United States, without her leaving her home. She will be able to see every treatment option available for her at each of these cancer centers and receive high-touch, personalized support along the way from Driver’s team of physicians and nurses. Driver will then quickly schedule an appointment for Danielle at the cancer center she chooses to get her on the fast-track to getting the best treatment.

Why I started this campaign
I am so honored to be able to seed Danielle’s campaign.
Two years ago, a childhood friend introduced me to what was then a small startup, whose mission resonated with me from the get go: to connect cancer patients to the world’s largest and most advanced inventory of treatments, empowering the patient to become the Driver of their own care.
So, I left my job in digital media and joined Driver as the 22nd employee. Since then, I’ve touched many facets of the company. From setting up our operational structure and processes in both New York City and Shanghai, to moving out to San Francisco to recruit the best software engineers, lab scientists and entrepreneurs to join our team. 24 months and 114 employees later, I’m humbled by and honored to have the opportunity to help an individual patient in her conquest to find life-saving cancer treatment.
As a part of our Beta launch, every employee of Driver has the opportunity to support a GoFundMe campaign for a patient. We have donated the first $500 to this campaign to kickstart it for Danielle. I am so honored to have the opportunity to help Danielle and am excited to have you join me in supporting her campaign and getting her access to the cancer treatment that she so desperately needs.
Where do the funds go?
The funds from this campaign will cover the cost of Danielle’s Driver membership and Hyperdrive, Driver’s flagship product.
