Help Courtney D To Recovery

On Wednesday, May 3, Courtney Dekker was in a terrible car accident.

She is suffering with multiple injuries including contusions to her face, a dislocated arm, four broken ribs, and bilateral fractures in both of her legs below her knees.

Courtney was admitted to the Royal Columbian Hospital. She has to have three surgeries over the next 1-2 weeks to reconstruct both of her knees with screws and plates. She is currently in the Orthopedics wing with a giant rod running up her entire leg to help relieve all the pressure built up from her accident.

She will be in the hospital for approximately one month, and once she is released from the hospital, she will be in recovery for 6 months. Until then, she has a 6 year boy named Cohen, and a home with three little kitties that she will not be able to fully look after. With the help of Cohens friends as well as family and Courtneys friends, Cohen is being well looked after.

Her home will be empty, as she will not be able to tackle the number of stairs within her home. That being said, bills and rent will still be flooding her mailbox... bills and rent that she will not be able to pay for for 6 months.

I am hoping that by creating this gofundme page for my sister, my family and I will be able to raise the money she needs to help cover for her 6 month long rehabilitation/ medical expenses, as well as her rent and bills.

Currently, I do not know what her expenses are, but I am starting with what I have posted, and will raise the goal if I need to upon hearing any information on the expenses.
