Dear All,

 This GoFundMe is on behalf of our amazing mom Cleydy Flores, whom in 2016, at the age of 58, was diagnosed with stage 4 stomach cancer which had already spread to the liver.  With this diagnosis, all of our lives inevitably changed forever.  However, we thank God we were able to overcome the fear of losing our mom and made the decision to be brave enough to fight this horrible disease.

 For this reason, we have decided for the first time to start this GoFundMe.  After almost 3 years in this battle, it has become extremely challenging for us to keep up with the endless list of expenses pertaining to the care our mother needs to survive.  Our goal with these funds is to be able to cover not only the present expenses regarding the medications and special nutrition our mom requires but also lessen to some degree the burden caused by the tremendous amount of accumulated debt acquired during these years given this very expensive disease.  In this sense your help will be critical in bringing about much needed relief to our lives and especially to our beloved mom.

 The Lord has been so good to us through all this time but now it is the moment to look for help amongst our beloved family and friends, in humbleness and love.  We would like to thank everyone in advance for your donations and prayers.

Este GoFundMe es en beneficio de nuestra increíble mamá Cleydy Flores, quien en el 2016, a la edad de 58, fue diagnosticada con un muy avanzado cancer de estómago que ya se había esparcido al hígado. Con este diagnóstico todas nuestras vidas cambiaron inevitablemente para siempre. Sin embargo, gracias a Dios fuimos capaces de superar el miedo de perder a nuestra mamá y tomar la decisión de ser lo suficientemente valientes para pelearle a esta horrible enfermedad.

Por esta razón hemos decidido, por primera vez, empezar este GoFundMe, después de casi tres años en esta batalla se ha convertido en una situación muy desafiante para nosotros el hecho de costear la muy larga lista de gastos pertinentes al cuidado de las necesidades que nuestra madre tiene para seguir sobreviviendo. Nuestra meta con estas donaciones es ser capaces de cubrir no solamente los gastos actuales correspondientes a las medicinas y nutrición especial que nuestra madre necesita, pero también para poder aliviar en cierto modo todas las deudas que fuimos adquiriendo en estos años debido a esta enfermedad tan costosa. En este sentido vuestra ayuda es muy importante para poder salir de la situación en que nos encontramos y darle un poco de alivio a nuestra amada mamá.

Dios ha sido muy bueno con nosotros durante todo este tiempo, pero ahora es el momento de buscar ayuda entre nuestros muy queridos amigos y familia en humildad y amor. Queremos también agradecer a todos ustedes en adelantado por sus donaciones y oraciones.
