Help Christine Stark Kern fight pancreatic cancer

To know Christine Stark Kern is to love her. She is the embodiment of strength, resilience and grace in the face of seemingly insurmountable obstacles. When handed adversity, she faces it with an open heart full of love, light and gratitude for the opportunity to greet a new day with her two children, family and friends.
Christine was initially diagnosed with breast cancer in June of 2015 at 40 years old. Further testing uncovered an additional diagnosis of pancreatic cancer. After multiple surgeries that removed to many organs to enumerate, as well as rounds of chemotherapy and radiation, it looked like she had beaten the odds.
Unfortunately, recent scans uncovered growths in both her lung and her liver. She had a biopsy on her lung on 6/12/19 which showed a stage 4 metastasis of pancreatic cancer. She is undergoing additional biopsies on her liver to determine its origins prior to developing a treatment plan.
Christine finalized her divorce two weeks before the most recent diagnoses. The day after the lung biopsy Christine moved an hour and a half away into a new home. She is independently creating a new household for her and her two children, Maddie (11) and Ben (8). She is unable to work at this time due to her illness and upcoming treatments. We are asking for funds to offset the costs of treatment, including travel expenses to other islands and/or the mainland; daily living expenses; and to help her create a sanctuary in her new home for her and the children.
