FROM A YOUNG WOMAN IN UGANDA...
"My name is Fionah. I had a happy early childhood with my family of brothers and sisters and my parents. That changed when my mother and father were taken by the sickness. It was so hard. No one wanted to take care of me. I didn't want to end up like some girls who had to do many things for some little bit of food or money. I faced despair and then I found out about the Crane Centre.
The Crane Centre trained me in vocational skills. This gave me a chance to improve my life. I learned how to cook, how to work with modern stoves and refrigerators, how to clean and do other things that would lead to a good job. They even helped me to do an internship in a local hotel and I am now a successful job holder and can support my family.
There are many more young people like me who have little chance for a life of dignity and meaningful work.
Please help the Crane Centre provide for more young men and women to have a means to support themselves and their families.
The Crane Centre does this by providing job training in hotel skills and the culinary arts.
They need your help to give this opportunity to others. There are so many like me who, if given the chance, will work hard to change their lives for the better. They will prove themselves worthy of your investment."
THE CRANE CENTRE
. An American 501c3 corporation
. The campus is located in Mbarara, Uganda
. Created solely to give young Ugandans the opportunity to be self-
supporting thru highly marketable skills in Culinary Arts.
. Oversight is provided by both American and Ugandan boards.
. American board members monitor on site each year.
. 90% of the students have completed the program and are
gainfully employed.
. The school encourages both female and male students to
participate in the program.

HEADED TO SUCCESS
GO FUND ME GOAL:
. To complete the expansion of the training facility
. For the past 2 years 20 students have requested inclusion in the
program. Ten had to be turned down each of those years.
. Current space accomodates 10 students; need to double the
space to train the larger number.
The Crane Centre is changing lives. Young people are lifted from lives of isolation, poverty and hunger. YOU can be a part of that change. Help us transorm the lives of more young people by making a tax deductible donation to the Crane Centre.
