Help CB Medical Fund

This is our dear friend Christin Brown, who we call CB. She is one of the funniest and most caring people we know, who can always make others smile. She puts others before herself and will do anything for those in need, without reservation. CB is without a doubt, one of our very favorite people.
CB is an intelligent and passionate person, who has a Bachelor's Degree in Music from Oklahoma City University and is currently a private contractor for a transcription company that does real-time transcriptions for students who are deaf and hard of hearing. She is also a soprano for the Dallas Symphony Chorus. Despite her selflessness and diligence in her schooling and career, she has been unable to afford medical insurance. Usually this is not something CB must worry about: she doesn't drink or smoke and if something is needed medically, she saves up and pays for it herself, often taking second jobs, to do so. However, as you will read below, her situation now is drastically different.
All of this trouble began when CB visited the Dr. for pain in her abdomen. It was discovered that she had some hereditary problems with her gallbladder. There were several gallstones that were causing her gallbladder to swell and scar. Usually, no biggie- you don't even need your gallbladder! Therefore, she scheduled her appointment, and was in agony for almost two weeks, still being her incredibly hardworking and positive self.
Unfortunately, what started out as a simple 3 hour in-and-out patient surgery to remove her gallbladder turned into something very different. Due to unexpected developments, an artery was nicked in the process of the surgery, and CB lost a lot of blood. Since the operation, she has been in the ICU and needed several blood transfusions. Additionally, the doctors have ordered multiple CT scans and other tests to monitor any internal bleeding, as well as her blood pressure, heart rate, and hemoglobin counts.
We are setting up this GoFundMe for our dear friend, because, as you can imagine, the hospital bills due to this unexpected turn of events, are going to be very high. We want to help CB in covering her medical expenses, or at least make it more manageable for her to cover basic living expenses.
We love this woman and are requesting any financial help, in addition to prayers, you might be willing to give. Any amount is greatly appreciated, as soon as you are able, so that CB's life can hopefully get back to normal. Thank you so much for even considering to assist, by reading. If you are unable to afford a donation, please consider forwarding this to those you know, who can. We cannot express how much we hope your generosity will turn this painful, frightening experience for CB into just an uncomfortable memory that proves to her, how much of a wonderful impact she has made on so many.
Thank you a hundred times more.
