Help Cassidy get Ketamine for Intractable Pain!

My daughter Cassidy, 22, has been living with severe chronic pain for over ten years. She is diagnosed with chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy, seizure disorder, autoimmune encephalitis, reflex sympathetic dystrophy and nerve damage from tick borne diseases. She also has a service dog.
I have been trying to get Cassidy relief from her chronic pain since she was 12. I’ve brought her to every type of doctor and tried countless medications and alternative remedies. Nothing has worked. She has constant nerve pain, which is stabbing pain, rawness, throbbing, and feels like she’s being cut by razors. It’s so hard to watch her in pain and not be able to help.
Cassidy is homebound and unable to go to college due to her medical problems. She is up all night in pain and has had countless ER visits and hospitalizations.
Cassidy learned about ketamine infusions when she was in high school anatomy class. Last year we finally got to try them. They are not covered by insurance. Ketamine is an anesthetic known for helping intractable nerve pain, and it has been the first and only hope for helping Cass. Lower dose infusions cost $5000 out of pocket. When she only getting relief for barely a week, much less than the months of relief doctors expected, they determined the next step would be going to a 24/7 ketamine infusion in a hospital, lasting 5 days at least. This can cost up to 50k, as well as additional boosters, and again is not covered by insurance. These would be out of state and a big deal for our family. We hope it’s life changing for Cassidy.
My family and I are tired of seeing Cassidy struggle in pain and not be able to do what she wants to do. She is too young and has so much ahead of her. This is highly impacting her quality of life. We will do whatever we can do help her live the most normal life she can.
