Just two weeks after celebrating her 5th birthday, We received the terrible news that our beloved Camila was diagnosed with Leukemia. Camila is the first born of Rigoberto and Cinthia Alvarenga, Two very close and dear friends who we are trying to help in  treating their daughter's horrible disease.  Camila and her family live in Honduras, Central America. Doctors here, have agreed that the best treatment option would be to seek medical care in the USA. This implies a great financial need as we are still figuring out if their insurance will cover any part of the treatment at all. Added to this, both Rigo and Cinthia will have to take a leave from their jobs and temporarily relocate to where Camila will receive treatment.
The situation is urgent because knowing that there is extra financial help, better decisions can be made on treatment.
We will update on Camila's progress as more information becomes available.

Another way to help, that we will be forever grateful, is with your prayers for the complete healing of Camila

This campaign was created on behalf of Rigoberto and Cinthia Alvarenga who are personal close friends from years in church. They are currently seeking medical attention for their daughter Camila in Miami, FL.  The plan for the funds is to set Rigoberto as the beneficiary of these funds once he has set up a bank account in Miami. If for any reason this cannot be done, Rigoberto will advise me to set a close family member living in Miami as beneficiary so they may transfer the Funds to Rigoberto.

Hello everybody, we would like to share an update of our beloved Camila. Last week on July 18, day 140 of her treatment, she started a new phase called "Delayed Intensification", where she will receive again some steroids and a medicine called doxorubicin, which is typically used for leukemia.

During this time she has been been having a great mood and her body has been having excellent acceptance. All this thanks to your economic support on letting her receive this treatment at Nicklaus Children Hospital, but must of all thanks for all your prayers which have been the strongest weapon in facing this fight.

We will appreciate to continue praying for her and all the people with health needs around the world.
In behalf of Camila's Family (AGTEAM), thanks again and our best wishes for all of you. May God grant you with plenty of blessings and multiplication of your support!!!

Hello everybody we wanted to give a quick update on the status of this campaign. First of all, in the name of the entire Alvarenga Garcia family and all the friends that have come together to help Camila, we want to say THANK YOU!!! Your donations and your prayers are all part of a living testimony that we are certain will be shared for years to come as Camila recovers from this.
We had some difficulties setting up Rigoberto as the beneficiary of the funds, however the friends at gofundme.com helped us and gave us some options. We have now set up Crista Alvarenga, Rigo's sister and Camila's Aunt to be the beneficiary of the campaign's funds. She will then transfer the funds to Rigo's personal account so that Rigo and Cinthia can use the funds as needed.
Keep the blessing coming!!!
