Help Bring Wojo4hitz Back To YouTube!

Wojo4hitz was a YouTube channel run by superfan Jaime Wojdowski. Jaime had been recording live footage of her favorite bands with the intent to share online with other fans who were less fortune and unable to attend shows due to financial struggles, distance, parental consent, or not being out of the closet but wanting to attend LGBTQ artists shows.

Jaime had been uploading these videos to her YouTube channel since 2007. Jaime has become a household name in not only the LGBTQ community, but also the Tegan and Sara fanbase among many others. Many of the artists Jaime records acknowledge her important role within the community and encourage her to keep pursuing her passion of sharing. Jaime never monetized these videos and gladly allowed artists to monetize and profit off of the live content she uploaded of said artists, she truly wanted to give back to the artists and community she was and is passionate about.

In June 2019, Jaime received devastating news that her YouTube channel, Wojo4hitz, had been terminated without warning. 3GC Records, an independent record label started by the pop group Hanson in October 2003, filed takedown notices against 10 of Jaime's videos simultaneously, three from Hanson's Tulsa ST show and seven from their Hanson Day Storytellers show which was open to the public and was not a members-only event, and many other people had been recording video footage of this event.

Here's a quote from Jaime:

"Instead of giving me one or two copyright strikes, per YouTube’s notice system (which is supposed to allow channel owners to have notice of the problem and allow them to fix it), YouTube apparently gave me all three strikes at the same time and disabled my channel without even notifying me it was happening.

In the weeks that followed, I told 3CG that I would be happy to remove any and all Hanson videos I had up – and to never post ANY Hanson videos AGAIN – if they would rescind the takedown notices and allow me to have my channel back, but they have refused. Out of the 5,000 videos I had up on my channel, only a tiny fraction were of Hanson. The rest were mainly of artists who have supported and/or monetized my videos."

Jaime is currently working with a lawyer in hopes of reviving her channel, but as you may know lawyers aren't free, nor are they cheap. The first charge Jaime is expected to pay is $1,500 to contact Hanson, but she will be expected to pay $2,500 if her lawyer contacts both Hanson and YouTube. All funds from this fundraiser will go directly towards Jaime's legal fees in regards to the revival of her YouTube channel Wojo4hitz. Any extra donations after the legal fees are covered will be used for the betterment of the Wojo4hitz channel (e.g. camera equipment). She will need these funds as soon as possible.

Thank you for your time, donations, and publicity. Jaime and everyone who enjoyed her wonderful content including myself will be overjoyed and grateful if we reach our goal. If you are unable to donate, sharing this will get the word out and we will be one step closer to enjoying Wojo4hitz once again!
