Help bring passionate Chilean Teacher to her PhD

Who am I?
Hi there...My name is Carolina and I am an English Teacher from Chile (this is me in Valparaiso a couple of years ago). This upcoming Fall, I am very excited to start my PhD in Learning, Literacy and Technologies at Arizona State University (ASU). I am so excited because I will be able to work and do research related to the impact of technology use inside the classroom and Second Language Learning.  Working with little kids has always been my passion and thinking about different and new ways of enhancing their learning process, really motivates me. 

A little bit about my students...
I am currently teaching undergraduate students but back home, I was teaching preschoolers, kindergarten and sixth graders. My students were the cutest and coolest "little" people in the world and they taught me so much about who I am, that I will always have them in my heart. Why am I on "gofundme"?
Relocating to a new place to start school is always a challenging situation, especially if you are coming from a family that does not have the sufficient resources to support you. Both my parents are teachers in Chile and their salaries do not allow them to help me out too much. Prices in the US are very high when it comes to rent and associated fees and so this is now a big complication for me.

Since I do not come from a background with money, I am struggling to pull together the money needed to just cover moving and retaining an apartment. Since I have no credit within the USA and no family with credit in the USA, I have to pay large amounts of money just to retain a lower-end apartment that others who have credit or a guarantor do not have to face.

Some last words...
One of the most important things I always tell my students, is they must never stop fighting for their dreams. Continuing my education, perfecting my teaching skills and trying to solve the problematic of English Language Learning in my country, are my dreams and I will never stop working to accomplish them.
