Help Cammie’s Animals

As many of you know by now, Cammie has received the devastating diagnosis of early (and rapid) onset dementia.
Cammie had recently taken a new job and moved to CA with her beloved 3 cats and 1 dog. Given the unexpected diagnosis and progression of her illness, her family had to urgently fly her back to MA and had no choice but to leave her pets in boarding in CA. Now begins the challenge of how to get them out of boarding and into foster homes and new forever homes.
The hope is to get the cats re-homed in CA through Cammie’s network of friends and to get Dustin, the dog, transferred back to the east coast into foster where he can visit with Cammie before ultimately moving to his new forever home.
The funding efforts will be for costs incurred for boarding the animals, the cost of veterinary care to allow for transport, the cost of transport, etc. Any overage of funds will be disbursed to both help foster and care for the animals and to assist with some of Cammie’s unexpected expenses.
The outpouring of help and efforts already initiated by Cammie’s friends and family is appreciated but not at all surprising, given how much Cammie is loved by all. It is a reflection of who Cammie is and why we all love and support her. Thank you for considering donating to these efforts.
